About Casa Global
We are a Memphis-based nonprofit corporation that develops and delivers personalized solutions for people impacted by poverty, poor living conditions, stagnant professional and personal growth, youth disengagement, and personal devastation. Casa-Global will do this by partnering with organizations, businesses, and neighbors to work together to provide resources, vocational/job training, adult and youth programming, and other resources and support aimed to uplift those in need. Casa-Global believes they can eradicate the negative outcomes endured by many underserved or impoverished people, one resource at a time.
Meet the Founder
Sade Smith is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and is a Therapeutic Foster Care Case Manager for Bethany Christian Services, where she advocates for Level 2 and Level 3 children sent from the Department of Children Services. She also serves as the Founder and Executive Director, on the board of directors, for CASA-GLOBAL. Before Sade brought CASA-GLOBAL into existence, she was engaged in helping people who could not advocate for themselves and her recent feature on News Channel 5, advocating for foster children in need of foster parents, proves that point. At Bethany Christian Services, Sade also provides therapy services to children, foster parents/families, and the biological parents. She has many years of experience working with people ages 10 – 28 and has over 5 years of counseling experience; including individual, group, drug and alcohol abuse, and couples counseling.
